ANNUAL BLOCK ISLAND HALLOWEEN BLOCK PARTY
The Annual Halloween Block Party is a community celebration bringing together local businesses, residents, and visitors for an evening of Halloween fun. The event features trick-or-treating, food, games, giveaways, bounce houses, our Halloween maze, and plenty of spooky surprises.
But the Block Party is about more than Halloween. Proceeds from the event support the Screams for Dreams Scholarship, created to help a local student pursue education or training for a career in the skilled trades.

Each Halloween, our community comes together for the Annual Halloween Block Party—an evening filled with candy, food, games, activities, and plenty of Halloween fun. What began as a community celebration has also become an opportunity to give back.
Last year, proceeds from the Block Party helped establish the Screams for Dreams Scholarship, created to support a local student pursuing an education and career in the trades. We are excited to continue that mission this year.

When and where is the event?
It is Halloween night every year. Oct 31, 2026. This year it is 3-7pm in the field in front of the Oar/Boat Basin.
What happens at the event?
There is a DJ, maze, bouncy houses, games food cooked on site, a bar catered by Poor People's Pub, and lots of candy!
Do I dress up?
Absolutely! Have fun with it! We love seeing everyone's costumes.
Can I BYOB?
No! Please use the bar for all alcoholic beverages. We have been working hard to make this an enjoyable event for all and if we want to continue, we need everyone to cooperate. Have fun but be safe!
Where do I park?
Park in the parking lot of the Oar Restaurant and walk up the field from there.
Where do the donations go?
Sponsorships are specifically used on expenses to have the event. All donations go to the Screams For Dreams Scholarship that we award to a student annually.
